Julian Lage Trio

The jazz guitarist Julian Lage is an exceptional talent: as an eight-year-old he already started playing with musicians such as Carlos Santana, Pat Metheny, Kenny Werner, Toots Thielemans, Gary Burton and many more. His uncramped, easy-going and readily accessible jazz understanding generated much attention for his works and he was rewarded with Grammy nominations. Although recognised as a virtuoso, Lage's ability is never presented as a show of his spectacular technique. More important to him is the emotional content of his music. An exceptional talent indeed.
For the evening he will be accompanied by bassist Jorge Roeder and drummer Kenney Wollesen. Together they will further develop a blend of Jazz-Fusion, Blues and Rock’n’Roll.
